Traveling Maintenance Manager in Gainesville, FL

About the role

The Collier Companies is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor to support and manage the maintenance team in ensuring properties meet established standards. Responsibilities may include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, structural, and appliance repairs. The role requires leadership, trouble-shooting skills, and a customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the maintenance team
• Ensure properties meet established standards
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Make solutions with a customer service attitude
• Perform repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or equivalent supervisory position
• Conventional experience a plus
• Available for up to 100% travel
• Self-starter with strong eye for detail
• Ability to recruit new vendors and establish long-term relationships
• Experience with Entrata Property Management Software
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• EPA certified and strong HVAC skill set preferred
• Commitment to Emergency-On-Call (EOC) participation
• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and prioritize
