Traveling Head of School

About the role

Fusion Academy is seeking a dynamic and energetic Head of School to serve as the interim Head of School for our campuses across the nation. This role requires temporary support for 1-12 month durations and involves traveling nationally.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead your campus team with vision, innovation, and a culture of heart and collaboration.
• Inspire and develop staff through clear expectations, coaching, and professional growth.
• Drive enrollment through community connections, partnerships, and events.
• Ensure operational and fiscal health, balancing high-quality programming with smart management.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to create a dynamic and supportive school culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• 3–5 years of successful school leadership experience.
• Experience managing a budget, financial reporting, and tracking specific metric performance.
• Proven ability to build culture and lead diverse teams.
• Experience with enrollment growth, admissions, or business development.
• Passion for alternative education and supporting diverse learners.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Pay

The pay range for this role is USD $98,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Hr.
