About the role

The Assistant Superintendent will achieve a high level of productivity, being customer-centric, a dynamic team player, and valuing safety. They should understand the means and methods of multi-family or commercial building construction and be action-oriented, proactive, and foresightful.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the project performs according to quality standards, including adherence to the schedule of daily jobsite activities and management of work lists to ensure subcontractor completion.
  • Maintain organization and understand the final product.
  • Strong consideration to a candidate with working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical work.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at the construction jobsite daily, including occasional overtime and weekend hours.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in multi-family or commercial construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Construction management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical work.
