What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing welding operations using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding
- Interpreting engineered drawings, weld symbols, and dimensions
- Fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting components to meet exact tolerances
- Fabricating and repairing semi-complex parts from raw materials
- Following red-line changes and recommending process or design improvements
- Troubleshooting and repairing consumable failures (spring liners, nozzle insulators, tips, etc.)
- Using hand and power tools including grinders and chipping hammers
- Troubleshooting welding machines and equipment issues
- Entering labor hours into the ERP system (SAP)
- Supporting daily housekeeping and 5S initiatives
- Working closely with supervisors, managers, and peers to deliver quality work on schedule
- Meting internal and external customer expectations consistently

What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant welding or fabrication experience (or equivalent education and experience)
- Proven proficiency in:
- SMAWFCAWGMAW / GMAW-P
- TIG
- Carbon Arc welding
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Experience operating a wide range of hand and power tools
- Willingness and ability to obtain AWS certifications (training provided)
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with field and shop teams
