Primary Responsibilities
- Aid the Superintendent in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, resource planning, and daily site operations.
- Provide administrative and clerical support by maintaining daily logs, reports, and project documentation.
- Support communication between project managers, subcontractors, field teams, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Track project progress and assist in identifying and escalating issues that may impact timelines or quality.
- Cook up subcontractor activities, material deliveries, and workforce logistics to support efficient operations.
- Affix to quality control processes by tracking inspections and ensuring work aligns with project specifications.
- Support safety efforts by helping monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain organized records related to safety, progress, and field activities.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Help manage relationships with subcontractors and support issue resolution as directed by the Superintendent.
- Afford procurement coordination and tracking of materials and equipment to avoid delays.
- Promote a positive work environment and support adherence to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in construction or paving industry preferred (1–3 years ideal).
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment under the direction of a Superintendent.
- A basic understanding of construction processes and safety practices preferred.
- Travel required 90% of the time.
- A valid driver’s license required.
