Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to perform routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures as requested by referring physicians, providing all necessary documentation.
• Establishes effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary departments, and customers to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensures proper safety procedures and radiation safety practices are met according to ALARA principles.
• Demonstrates knowledge of information service systems, provides patient education, and maintains thorough documentation.
• Adheres to clinical principles and hospital policies, including incident reporting.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
• NYS Radiology Technologist license
• ARRT(R)
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
