Travel Xray Technologist - $2,755 per week

About the role

Xray Technologist, located at the healthcare providers orthopedic and sports medicine hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, will perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, including outpatients, inpatients, and urgent care patients. The role involves operating various c-arm equipment and mobile x-ray units within the OR and urgent care center, ensuring high-quality images for clinical use.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate patient positioning
• Conducting image operations per provider requests
• Implementing radiation safety practices

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification in good standing
• Active ND state license or willingness to apply
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of recent related work experience

Schedule

Varying weekday shifts including 8-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 5:30 AM to 8:30 AM, with some evening shifts from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, and rotating weekends and call. Weekend hours are 8 AM to 5:30 PM or until urgent care patients are seen; call hours are weekdays from 5 PM to 7 AM and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
