The technologist will assist in producing diagnostic images, educate patients regarding procedures, and support departmental workflow efficiency. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program; requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification required; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience; must demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred. Additional Information: Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies based on established policies and procedures. Educates patients/families about procedures and associated risks. Produces high-quality images and maintains accurate documentation. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable. Evaluates equipment quality control measurements, troubleshoots, and maintains safety standards. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety policies. Ensures departmental workflow operates smoothly by monitoring supplies and performing other duties as assigned.
