The position emphasizes patient interaction, safety, and documentation within a team-oriented environment. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures
• Adjust protocols based on patient needs
• Utilize complex imaging equipment
• Administer contrast agents as ordered
• Ensure proper documentation and coding
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members, providing instructions and explanations to ease patient anxiety
• Identify patients accurately, review history, apply departmental protocols for optimal imaging results
• Ensure proper archiving and billing procedures are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to system-wide competencies and behaviors

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from an ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date
• Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified
• Technologist cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT Certificate
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
