Travel Xray Technologist - $2,455 per week

About the role

This position involves performing a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using advanced radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. The role requires troubleshooting, participating in quality assurance, and making quick, highly technical decisions to address physical restrictions and pathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ensure patient safety
• Float as needed (local rule: within 50 miles of the facility)

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
• Graduate of a school of radiologic technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Pass/Fail cardiac interpretation testing with strict criteria (including telemetry exams and attempts policy)

Schedule

Nights shift, 10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Tuesday, minimum 40 hours per week, including holidays and standby call.

Pay

Pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
