Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Vascular Sonographer for a travel position in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing.
• Write preliminary reports and communicate acute findings to the care team.
• Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to examinations.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use.
• Ensure timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
• Troubleshoot and identify any equipment problems, reporting issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• May perform staff training and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in vascular technology.
• Education: Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field; or completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.
• Certifications & Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One of the following certifications is required: RDCS through ARDMS, RVT through ARDMS, RCS, ACS, or RCCS through CCI.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week, day shift.
