Travel Vascular Sonographer - $2,586 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, Massachusetts, starting November 22, 2026. The position is in a vascular lab setting performing carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular ultrasound studies using Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and detect vascular abnormalities. Charting is done in Epic EMR.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (Tuesday through Friday, 07:00–16:30)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 22, 2026

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee vascular ultrasound procedures to assess blood flow and detect vascular abnormalities
• Prepare and position patients for vascular ultrasound examinations
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of vascular ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate results
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in vascular sonography
• RVT certification through ARDMS
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• State license if applicable
• Flu vaccine required (no religious or medical exemptions allowed)

Pay

Pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
