Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Vascular/General

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Gen/Vascular to perform diagnostic imaging using high-frequency sound waves.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
• Conduct ultrasound scans of general and vascular studies
• Analyze images for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic results into patient care plans
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Read and follow instructions accurately
• Document procedures and findings thoroughly
• Provide patient-centered care while ensuring safety and comfort

Requirements

• Proficiency in human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Technical expertise in operating ultrasound equipment
• Critical thinking and effective communication skills
• Physical dexterity and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Visual acuity and physical strength to handle equipment and assist patients
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• At least one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• Valid licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Preferred: ARDMS or ARRT certification
