Vascular/General Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

The selected Full-Time Vascular/General Ultrasound Technologist will perform ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the provider. This role involves applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and/or general testing on patients with professionalism and respect
• Maintain imaging equipment and order necessary supplies
• Ensure all procedures are appropriately ordered with patient identification obtained before performing the procedure
• Perform all procedures according to departmental protocol
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• ARRT, ARDMS, and/or RVT Registration or registry available
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting performing ultrasound strongly preferred
