Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer Echo (ultrasound technologist specializing in echocardiography) in Sacramento, California. This position involves performing adult and pediatric echocardiographic procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings, with an emphasis on adult acute care and pediatric complex congenital cases. The role requires working days, potentially with some call shifts, and may include rotating weekends once a month.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Echocardiography (PE) certification.
- Education or licensing documentation must be current and valid.
- At least 2 years of experience performing echocardiographic studies on adults and pediatrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric complex congenital conditions preferred.
- Knowledge of adult acute care settings and proficiency with PACS, Philips ultrasound systems, and portable studies.
