About the role
Talent4Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract starting on August 24, 2026, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and educate patients for diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Position patients for examinations and operate ultrasound equipment.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and evaluate image quality.
- Submit images and clinical information to radiologists for interpretation.
- Evaluate and document procedures accurately.
- Provide excellent communication with patients, radiologists, coworkers, and leadership.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound/Sonography experience required.
- Experience with general and vascular ultrasound required.
- ARDMS registry required.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Must have experience performing: General ultrasound procedures, Vascular ultrasound procedures.
- No experience required in: Echocardiography, Breast ultrasound, ABIs and segmental pressures.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills required.
- Able to operate ultrasound equipment, evaluate image quality, and follow imaging protocols.
