About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a position in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Document findings accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Experience in labor and delivery ultrasound preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
  • Passing score on a national registry exam for sonographers.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
