About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a position in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document findings accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in labor and delivery ultrasound preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Passing score on a national registry exam for sonographers.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
