Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,409 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The position will involve performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
• Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) preferred
• Current ARRT Certification in Sonography preferred

Qualifications

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Must have the ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
