About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 11, 2026 in Bangor, Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various imaging modalities
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations
  • Document findings accurately and prepare reports for referring physicians
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments

Requirements

  • Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Current CPR certification

Skills

  • Proficiency with ultrasound equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12 hours per day, 7 days a week.
