Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $3,050 per week

About the role

Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position located in a medical‑surgical unit specializing in neurological care. The RN will provide high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment, managing patients with neurological deficits, stroke, and post‑neurosurgery conditions while adhering to unit protocols and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12‑hour night shift schedule.
• Manage patients with neurological deficits, stroke, and post‑neurosurgery conditions.
• Interpret telemetry monitors and maintain tele‑awareness.
• Perform hourly rounding, respond promptly to patient needs, and manage multiple admissions and discharges daily.
• Float to other adult medical‑surgical areas with neurological patient populations as needed.
• Pass a competency exam during orientation with a minimum 90% score.
• Participate in department‑specific orientation (two days) and work at least every other weekend plus 2‑3 holiday shifts from Thanksgiving to New Year’s.
• Comply with unit policies, including prohibition of artificial nails.

Required qualifications

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license at submittal (must reside within 50 miles of assignment).
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts (minimum 48 hours/week).

Preferred qualifications

• Travel nursing experience (preferred but not required).

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Assignment dates: 09/28/2026 – 01/11/2027 (15 weeks).
• Required participation in every other weekend and 2‑3 holiday shifts (Thanksgiving to New Year’s).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
