Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,253 per week
Job Description
Join the top-rated hospital in the Omaha metro area! We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel contract at Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE. You will primarily work in the fast-paced Heart Vascular Unit (7HVU), caring for specialty cardiovascular patients, including stable heart/lung transplants and LVADs. This Level I Academic Medical Center offers flexible 13 or 26-week contracts!
Contract Details
Target Start Date: 07/27/2026
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guarantee: 36 or 48 hours/week
Scheduling: Includes a weekend commitment (4 shifts per 4-week block) and requires working 2 out of 3 major winter holidays
Time Off (RTO): Up to 2 weeks allowed; must be disclosed upon submission
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large urban hospital. Must be proficient with EPIC charting and managing cardiac drips. (First-time travelers only accepted if your 2 years of experience are at a Level I Academic facility).
Floating: Travelers are first to float. You must be highly adaptable and willing to float frequently to other units (including the Bellevue campus) to meet hospital needs.
Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS required.
Radiation & Compliance: Candidates must reside strictly 100+ miles from the facility.
