Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or a compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care units

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol
• Monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and educate patients and families as appropriate

Work Schedule

12-hour shifts, days.

• The unit primarily cares for cardiac and telemetry patients; it is not a stepdown unit
• Temptoperm position is not available for this role
