About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Tele areas (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow)
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading tele strips
- Care for ED border patients
- Serve as medication nurse in the acute mental health unit
- Care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU
Requirements
- 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location
- 2 years working as a Traveler
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- AHA BLS certification
Skills
- Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
- TR Band experience
- Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12 hour shifts, nights
- Days/Eves Rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per Contract
- Every other weekend required
Pay
- Pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
