About the Role

FirstChoice Surgical Technologists are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout Trinity Health's network. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available, offering premium pay, flexible scheduling, and a variety of practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Incorporate and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: assess, outcomes identification/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience in practice area.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
• Minimum of 18 months of experience is required for CST certification.
• If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed (e.g., on-the-job training or military training), five (5) years of work experience is required.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Ability to complete orientation and training.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,320.00.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment.
• 4x10-hour day shifts.
• Start date: ASAP.

Location: Saint Alphonsus Health System, Boise, ID.
