Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, and/or regions as needed
• Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Act independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Requirements

• Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist
• Preferred Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST certification holders
• If no Surgical Technologist program completed (e.g., on-the-job training or military training), five (5) years of work experience is required
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
• Ability to complete orientation and training

Pay

Pay Range: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.

Gross Weekly Rate: $2,120.00 for 5x8 night shifts (13-week assignments).
