About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Administer medications as directed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field
- Current state license as a Surgical Technologist
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist exam
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Basic computer skills
