About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Administer medications as directed
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Surgical Technician in the state of Iowa
- Experience in a hospital or surgical setting
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician program
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Proficient in operating surgical equipment

Pay
