About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN SICU - Surgical Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the SICU requiring surgical intensive care.
- Assess and document patient conditions, adjust treatments as necessary, and communicate with other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform other clinical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maryland.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Experience in SICU preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
