Travel Surgical First Assistant - $2,100 per week
About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and starts immediately.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to patients across various units.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Maintain patient conditions, administer treatments, and document outcomes.
- Advocate for the best possible patient experience while supporting recovery, safety, and continuity of care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
- Valid Certified Surgical First Assistant license.
- Willingness to obtain Utah licensure.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
