Job Notes

• Required Experience:
• Must have 18 months combined perm experience in the specialty applying for; preferable to be within one location but can be combined.
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required; travel experience will suffice.
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.
• Licensure and Certifications:
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
• Certifications need to be active with nothing pending.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission.
• Assessments and Tests:
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required.
• Other Requirements:
• Covid-19 and Flu vaccines are required; medical/religious exemptions are considered.
• Facility does not accept any license hits or travelers with an open case.
• BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from Nicotine-free facility requirements; all other travelers must be nicotine-free.
