Travel Stepdown RN - $2,506 per week

Job Details

• Shift: 12 HR Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 48

Required Experience and Skills

• 1.5-2+ years of experience
• 1 year of experience in MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown
• Previous Charge Experience: Not required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Skills: IV start, telemetry, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, and more specified in the job description.

Certifications Required

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (if required by the unit, must be through the American Heart Association)

Licensure

• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission.

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 2 Manager/Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years.
• RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date).
• Submission to include a copy of all required certifications.

Charting System

• Experience with Cerner required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read strips
• Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Orientation and Modules

• Orientation held every other Monday
• Average completion time for modules: 8 hours, completed prior to start date.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
