Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $1,909 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 12-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, at a 36-hour-per-week schedule, 12-hour shifts, nights.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in managing patients requiring step-down care
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care continuity
• Document patient progress and communicate with family members as needed

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in stepdown care
• Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug screen required

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
