Travel Stepdown/MedSurg RN - $2,322 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Stepdown/MedSurg position in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 13-week contract assignment on the 7 West unit, which features 32 beds total — 12 Stepdown beds and 20 MedSurg beds. The unit cares for patients with common diagnoses including chest pain, COPD, and pneumonia.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on designated weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday) with required holidays. 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patients and perform assessments as required.
• Titrate medications and manage patient drips in the Stepdown unit.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including Charge Nurses and House Supervisors.
• Read telemetry strips and assist with patient management under the guidance of telemetry monitor techs.

Requirements

• Experience in Stepdown and MedSurg nursing.
• BLS Certification required.
• Current RN license to practice in West Virginia.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
