Travel Stepdown/Medsurg RN - $2,255 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a position in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role is for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN with a specialty in Stepdown, discipline RN, duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, and employment type travel. The opening is immediate and requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
