Travel Step Down Unit RN - $2,185 per week
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care in New York provides expert nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care to standard medical-surgical units. This role involves delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend; may float to medical-surgical units.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or active matriculation in a BSN program with relevant experience
- At least 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Specialty: Step Down Unit
Additional Information
- Experience in step down care, tracheostomy management, and ventilator weaning is highly preferred.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 34 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
