Pay

$2,580 to $2,773 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 07:00 – 19:00
• 4 × 12-hour shifts per week
• 2 openings available
• Start date: September 14, 2026

Responsibilities

• Care for patients requiring PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown level of care
• Manage aneurysms and repairs, intracranial bleeds, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and seizure disorders
• Administer blood products and follow heparin protocols
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including use of telemetry
• Handle cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required)
• Provide pre- and post-neurosurgery care, including craniotomy patients
• Perform tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
• Maintain peripheral lines, PICC lines, and nasal cannula
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Document in Epic charting system

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Active VA license or Compact License (quick-license state; application process takes 2 weeks or less)
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Travel experience required
