Pay
$2,580 to $2,773 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 07:00 – 19:00
- 4 × 12-hour shifts per week
- 2 openings available
- Start date: September 14, 2026
Responsibilities
- Care for patients requiring PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown level of care
- Manage aneurysms and repairs, intracranial bleeds, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and seizure disorders
- Administer blood products and follow heparin protocols
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including use of telemetry
- Handle cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required)
- Provide pre- and post-neurosurgery care, including craniotomy patients
- Perform tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
- Maintain peripheral lines, PICC lines, and nasal cannula
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Document in Epic charting system
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Active VA license or Compact License (quick-license state; application process takes 2 weeks or less)
- Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
- Travel experience required
