Pay

$2,580 to $2,773 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 4 × 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Patient ratios: 3:1 on nights, 3:1 on weekends

• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Manage Cardiac drips (no titration)
• Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Mastectomy care
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• Non-invasive airway management
• Ortho trauma
• Oxygen tanks
• Epidural analgesia
• Heparin Protocols
• PICC line management
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown care
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Peripheral nerve block catheters
• Phlebotomy
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
• Renal failure care
• Spinal cord injury care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains
• Telemetry (on-unit monitoring)
• Titration of Insulin drips
• Total joint replacement care
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Traumatic Brain Injury care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active VA license or Compact License (quick-license state; application process takes 2 weeks or less)
• Travel experience required
• Charting experience with Epic
