MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a quality Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Wadesboro, North Carolina.
About the role
This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
- Teach patients to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral/written language skills for effective communication.
- Teach individuals to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow safely without choking.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the process of obtaining one.
- At least one year of professional working experience as an SLP.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current CPR certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
