MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a quality Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Wadesboro, North Carolina.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
Teach patients to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral/written language skills for effective communication.
Teach individuals to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow safely without choking.
Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.

Requirements

Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the process of obtaining one.
At least one year of professional working experience as an SLP.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current CPR certification.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
