MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Danville, Virginia.
About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess and treat patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits. Responsibilities include teaching patients to improve communication skills, strengthen muscles, and use compensatory strategies for safe swallowing.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills
Requirements
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the application process
- At least one year of professional working experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CPR certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

- 40 hours per week
