Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,704 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Biscoe, North Carolina.

About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. Responsibilities include teaching patients to improve communication skills, strengthen muscles, and use compensatory strategies for safe swallowing.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
• Help patients fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles through improved communication and swallowing abilities.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the application process for licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
