About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Macomb, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois
- Experience working in an acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
