About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Virginia.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to travel up to 100 miles per day.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
Compensation details are provided upon successful completion of the initial screening process.
Schedule
The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
