Responsibilities

• Perform complete diagnostic ultrasound studies, including patient positioning, equipment calibration, and documentation of findings
• Assist the radiologist with ultrasound procedures and provide verbal reports to the radiologist and other providers
• Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation; ensure timely communication of results
• Execute general ultrasound exams and cross-train in Echo/Stress Echo and non-invasive vascular exams as assigned
• Deliver excellent patient service with professional communication, empathy, and confidentiality
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and manage workload efficiently in a hospital environment

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent
• ARDMS registered or obtain within one year of hire; cross-training in Echo/Stress Echo and non-invasive vascular exams planned
• One year hospital experience preferred; ARRT(R) preferred; experience in non-invasive vascular and echocardiography exams preferred
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment
• Ability to work in a hospital setting, with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
