Travel Social Work - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - $1,886 per week

Travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). 12-week contract, 40 hours per week, night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM).

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hospital-Based Social Worker (LCSW) to support patients and families in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant social work experience, current Georgia LCSW licensure, and prior acute hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and support to patients and families.
• Develop and coordinate appropriate discharge and transition-of-care plans.
• Connect patients with community resources, healthcare services, and support programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with complex psychosocial, behavioral, and social needs.
• Advocate for patients and support safe, appropriate discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of social work experience.
• Georgia LCSW license required.
• Previous acute hospital experience required.
• Strong communication, assessment, care coordination, and discharge planning skills.
• Must meet the 50-mile local candidate restriction (no local candidates within 50 miles).

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 12-week assignment
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour night shifts
