Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,965 per week
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services in a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gymnasium, working as part of a team under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The position requires superb communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt to varied patient needs across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.
Job Details
Location: Lamar, Colorado
Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Education: Graduate of and have a certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Credentialing: Currently credentialed by Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board.
BLS Certification: Verification card of current instruction in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience, with outpatient experience preferred.
Language: Bi-lingual capabilities helpful.
Additional Information
The PTA will support the physical therapist in treating patients of all ages, assist with interventions, data collection, and make modifications as directed. The work environment is a clean, well-lighted, and air-conditioned space, with exposure to potential unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases. The role involves technical procedures, equipment operation, and professional communication.
