About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Battle Creek, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Active IA PTA License
- Rehabilitation experience preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current active license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Iowa
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
