About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments
- Help patients with activities of daily living
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Carolina
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a SNF setting
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Skills
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and scheduling
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the company.
Schedule
Days shift, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
