About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Active Kansas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license.
Qualifications
- Experience in SNF setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and devices.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and exercise programs.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
