About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Hull, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Active IA Physical Therapist Assistant License
- BLS via American Heart Association
- State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
Qualifications
- Experience in a SNF or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Pay
Weekly Gross: $1,512.00
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shift
