About the Role

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Waynesville, North Carolina. This opportunity allows you to work with a diverse geriatric population while helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and maximize their independence in a collaborative rehabilitation environment. Estimated weekly gross pay: $2,400–$2,500.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and functional independence.
• Treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, generalized weakness, and other medical diagnoses.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge recommendations.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain before start).
• Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation abilities.
